Devin Booker Suns victory

Devin Booker scored 30 points as the Phoenix Suns beat the Orlando Magic 117–104 in Phoenix on 5 November, according to the Orlando Magic's 6 November report and the NBA game listing. Orlando's 25 turnovers led to 36 Phoenix points, a significant part of the Suns' offence.

Phoenix turn Orlando's giveaways into points

The Orlando Magic's 6 November report credits Booker with 11-for-22 shooting, including 4-of-8 from three-point range, plus eight assists. Dillon Brooks added 24 points. Phoenix shot 52 percent overall and 50 percent from three, giving the Suns scoring from both their leading guard and another starter.

The Orlando Magic's 6 November report says Phoenix controlled nearly the entire game, then put together a 22–5 run in the third quarter. Orlando had to defend after losing possession as well as against the Suns' set offence.

Magic head coach Sean Sweeney said of the turnovers, “They came in a lot of different ways.” In the club's postgame account, Sweeney identified illegal screens and careless decisions among the causes. His assessment describes more than one kind of error, leaving Orlando with a specific possession problem to address on its road trip.

The Orlando Magic's 6 November report assigns 36 Phoenix points to turnovers out of the Suns' 117 total. SportsRivo calculated the share: 36 ÷ 117 = 30.8%. The figure measures the part of Phoenix's score that followed Orlando giveaways; it does not say that every turnover produced points.

Orlando's scoring and missing players

The Orlando Magic's 6 November report records 27 points and 13 rebounds for Wendell Carter Jr. Franz Wagner had 15 points, eight rebounds and a career-high 15 assists; Tristan da Silva scored 18 from the bench. Orlando therefore had substantial individual production even as Phoenix built the decisive lead.

The Orlando Magic's 6 November report says Orlando shot 34 percent from three and made 13 of 24 free throws. The club listed Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs and Noah Penda as out with ankle, knee and hamstring issues respectively. Those absences, the missed foul shots and the turnovers form the immediate context for a side continuing its West Coast trip.

What the result means for both teams

  • Phoenix converted Orlando's lost possessions into a material share of its scoring and turned a close contest into a clear win with its third-quarter run.
  • Booker and Brooks supplied the Suns' leading scoring, while Carter, Wagner and da Silva produced Orlando's main individual returns in defeat.
  • Orlando now carries the same ball-security issue into the next confirmed road fixture, after its coach identified several kinds of turnover rather than a single source.

Orlando visits Golden State next

The Orlando Magic's official fixture listing schedules a visit to the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center in San Francisco on 7 November at 8:30 p.m. EST. SportsRivo checked that listing against the completed Phoenix match report: the Suns result is final, while the Warriors meeting remains scheduled.
