Vithushan Ehantharajah grew up in England with Sri Lankan roots, and has written about being pulled between the two. In a Wisden feature he recalls the summer of 1998 as his first taste of live Test cricket and a flawed stylist named Mark Ramprakash. That mix of heritage and fandom still shapes his writing.
He is best known for England cricket coverage: news breaks, interviews and columns on the Test team, its management and the wider game, plus county cricket and the T20 Blast, where he first made his name. Away from cricket he is a regular voice on the Football Ramble podcast. At SportsRivo he reports on cricket, international rugby and the biggest horse racing meetings.
