World Netball announced on 4 November 2026 that HCF had become the first official partner of the 2027 Netball World Cup in Sydney. The agreement gives the Australian health fund’s members an earlier chance to buy seats in the opening ticket release.
HCF deal adds an early ticket window
The partnership extends HCF’s involvement in Australian netball to the sport’s global championship. World Netball says the fund has supported the game for about a decade, from community participation to elite competition. The announcement connects a commercial partner to the first opportunity to buy tournament tickets.
Jane Fernandez, Chief Executive Officer of the tournament, said: “We are delighted to welcome HCF as our first official tournament partner for what will be a groundbreaking event.” World Netball’s announcement links the agreement to a priority sales window for the fund’s members.
World Netball’s 4 November report says HCF members can access a limited ticket release from 9 November. That release covers the opening night, tournament passes and finals series passes. Host nation Australia is due to play on opening night, although its opponent has not yet been named.
Organiser’s timetable confirms the sequence
SportsRivo compared the new HCF window with the tournament organiser’s earlier ticket notice. NWC2027’s plan puts the subscriber presale on 10 November and general public sales on 12 November. The comparison confirms that the member window opens before either of those previously announced routes.
World Netball’s 4 November announcement says 16 nations have qualified, including Australia, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, New Zealand and England. The games are scheduled for Afterpay Arena in Sydney. This is a worldwide event with several Caribbean teams involved, even though the new access window is tied to an Australian partner.
What the ticket plan means for fans
- HCF members can seek opening-night seats before registered subscribers and the general public. Australia’s place in that opening match is confirmed, while its opponent awaits the draw.
- Tournament and finals passes are in the early release, giving supporters ways to follow more than one match before individual session tickets go on sale.
Full ticket range follows later
World Netball’s 4 November report says individual-session tickets are scheduled for February 2027. The organiser’s earlier notice says Australia’s opening opponent will be identified after the tournament draw. Those are the next announced steps for supporters choosing between a pass and a particular match.
